A tiny celebration

Because I started ‘making it’ on a special date last year then there is a little space between the 28th of February and the first of March where I will be having a tiny celebration.Just me and the wilty cress hedgehog.

How to make the rocket

In case you can’t read them, the instructions are –
1. Fix a box to a stool (mine was the woven kind but had the top missing). The box should be big enough to fit your child in.

2. Take four smaller boxes of equal size (I used a square tube cut up) and either put a brick into each or fill with sand. Wrap each box round with tape and then tape one to each leg to weigh down the rocket.

3. Cut a window and doors in the cardboard box. Roll a big sheet of paper (I used wallpaper) into a cone shape and tape to the top of the box.

4. Cover with paper, cutting and folding around windows and doors. Add silver tape to decorate and tissue paper flames.
